Today, after spending $300 replacing a dryer and getting the vents cleaned out when our tenants complained their clothes weren't getting dry, my husband and I realized that it was actually the washing machine that was broken. FML

If you read it the same way I did.. It sounds kinda sweet, but at the same time it sounds like he's calling you old or something. If any of that makes sense.

Geez, it's just a joke! To me, it only means that these 2 ppl get along very well and allow themselves to mess with each other. If you want a husband that respects you so much he can't even make you laugh well your life will be so boring really. Well anyway in France we favor funny guys over very good looking guys ! So I'd say good for you to have a husband with a sense of humor !

They could have been married years ago, which would make her either broken down, or beginning to break down. Maybe he needs a bigger wife for larger loads. He's not complaining. There's a difference between complaining and dropping an obvious hint. What the hubby said could have been said in a sweet tone and not a sarcastic tone.
