Today, I was at work at Panera. A blind woman came in, ordered, and said other blind people were going to come in soon, because they were having a meeting. Later, a man came in and asked if any other blind people had showed up. I told him there was just one in here wearing a blue shirt. FML

At least you didn't say "Yeah, can't you see them over there by that poster?"

he was probably thinking..."ur a bitch..."

He's blind. I'm sure people make mistakes like that around blind people occasionally. On another note, you are a dumbass XD

Why the **** are there so many YDIs? He was trying to help, you *****. It's natural to forget.

he must have thought you were taking the piss...

One time, after a huge, horrid snow storm, I was walking down a street that had not been cleaned up very well. I saw a blind man struggling to get to a store I had passed, so I ran over and offered my assistance. I did a decent job describing for him the obstacles he had to get over until the last one, where I said the following: "There is a rather large gap, about a foot or so. I advise you to step out from this point as far as you can. I will hold your hand in case you slip. Just take it slow and watch your step." ...Watch Your Step... To the blind guy... Asshat. I still think about that every time it snows (like today!)
