How would it roll if it were used? New ones roll because they're firm and cylindrical. Used ones flop because they're basically soaking wet cotton balls on string.
I assumed ALL women wrapped them in toilet paper. It could "roll" in that situation. Not far, but still. I doubt OP meant it actually took a trip but rather tumbled a bit over to the next stall area.
It didn't have a lot on it (thank god!) so it indeed rolled only just under the wall of the stall next to me

In Australia at least, we have special bins inside toilet stalls that are literally labelled "sanitary bin". It's not a garbage can because it's specifically for tampons and incontinence products.
This is true, and I'm from Australia.
People call it that in the us too.
