Well.. That's just the world's cruel way of saying happy Christmas I guys! I'm sorry...
Merry*
34-- I think the Brits say happy, at least they did in Harry Potter.
That's terrible, but you said might ... So don't jump to conclusion until you have all the facts and know for sure. Best of luck!
I agree.
thats something personal of your mother's, thats like her looking through everything in your phone. its not right. so YDI
While I understand where your coming from, it still sucks if that's the case of what her mom is doing. Than again she said might so maybe she's just reading too much into it.
Blackmail her!
apparently not the greatest idea because mom would lose OP's blackmail money once a week
Why did you read it?
Tell you dad or if he finds out you knew then he will hate you too
Haven't you ever heard of a little thing called privacy? If your mother had "accidentally" read your diary, you'd be screaming your head off about how it isn't right!! You don't know what's going on in your mothers life, it's none of your business until it affects you, and it most certainly is not your place to tell your father, since you don't actually KNOW anything. If you must speak to your mother about it because you're too nosy to let her have her friends without sticking your nose into her business, then, by all means, try to speak with her about it. Or, you could be an adult and understand that her life does not revolve only around what you see of her at home, and let her have some space and privacy, and trust that if something going on in her life is going to affect you, she will speak to you about it.
Better than her walking in on you...right?
Who still keeps hard written diaries these days? Didnt they watch 80's television? They cause nothing but trouble.
She should throw the book at you for that.

OP if you took the time to read pages, that doesn't sound like "flipping through" to me.
Maybe she flipped it up to a random page and there was a statement like "I fiddled with the gardener."
