Hey, I'm OP and I knew I'd get questions like "why do you have that on your USB?" I just copied my main folder onto my USB because I was clearing my laptop, just so I could have things like old art saved. I had it because my friend was asking for advice because I had one too, and since it was sent on Skype, it automatically saved the file. My entire folder was just a huge mess and I had one for received Skype files in it, and I completely forgot about it after it was sent. I'm still so shocked that it was one of the first things to come up out of the 3000+ files on it. :/

I'm assuming you didn't get the option to tell them "oh don't worry, that's just my friends infected nipple, not mine :)"
If it's an old USB, it's definitely weird you've kept that picture for so long...but in the future, try to go through old files and make sure there's nothing inappropriate or embarrassing, especially if it's for an important presentation.
Perhaps it is but I too have pictures that are at least 6 or 7 years old because they were auto-saved in a folder. I rarely go through certain folders unless I need the space. But I do agree with you, make sure this never happens again. I have 2 sticks precisely for this reason, each carefully labelled so I don't mess up.
Just wondering why you have that on a stick...seems like something that should've been texted, or if it had to be on a USB, deleted eventually..

When you say the TV didn't organize the files by folder, do you mean it listed everything in a random order instead of all folders then unsorted files, or do you mean it disregarded folders entirely & displayed all files in the same list? If the latter, fyl. If the former, you should always go through any USB for presentations & have it start with 2 folders: 1 for presentations, 1 for everything else. Sort further within those if desired. This makes it very fast to find your presentation, saves loading time, & prevents accidents like this. You might also want to change your Skype settings to save to a subfolder called Skype as an extra precaution.
It just didn't include folders and displayed all my files. There was a button to organize by folders but it wouldn't let me switch to folders before all files were loaded, so it was pretty much unavoidable. It was just to test it out too, I wasn't going to leave it there overnight for the exhibition. I ended up buying a new USB stick for the final piece anyway after that. No more scarring my tutors.
you could just format it
Sorry, but if you're presenting something publicly, the only thing on the flash drive you take there should be the presentation. Rookie mistake. YDI
As op said it was a test and she bought a new USB drive.
"my friends"
No. my friend his nipple piercing -> my friend's nipple piercing
#13, he is not trying to correct, he is saying that it's not actually the friend's infected nipple piercing, it's his own
She* Her* My bad
So do you get an A? Or was the infection that bad?
"Now THIS is provocative. The nipple clearly represents maternity and the availability of sustenance, but it's clogged and deformed by a human creation—a small aesthetic choice that's ultimately vapid and serves nothing but vanity. Could this be the message of your piece? The human tendency to let vanity overpower our natural capacity to care?" "Oh—yup!"
If you're gonna present something never ever have multiple things in a folder. That is almost like the golden rule when it comes to presentation, always combine all the files together and highlight it if your space is messy.
"The TV didn't organise files by folders". There were no folders, the TV just displayed all the files on the USB arbitrarily. If you're gonna tell people what to do make sure you read the FML properly first.
I did and my "advice" still stands in whichever way you put it. her saying "the tv didn't organize files by folders" means that there are folders to begin with. Thanks.
The correct advice would be, "When presenting something from a USB flash drive, make sure you have only what you are about to present on said flash drive to avoid any embarrassing situations"
