I hate when my job throws parties. I feel obligated to make an appearance instead of doing my own thing, on my own time. OP, just go have fun with your real friends.
Try sticking around after work to join in with the social stuff. It will really help with possible promotions too. Remember it's not what you know, but who you know. Hope this advice helps :)
Maybe it was spur of the moment and you had already left???
your phones probably to slow you need to switch
It's best not to fraternize with coworkers anyways.
Forever alone.
That shows that you can find better friends or coworkers.
I've been "that guy" before too OP. By my own "friends." They'd gone out several weekends in a row last summer without me and I found out from some random girl they'd met on one of these excursions when I ran into her with one of my close friends at a store. Needless to say, I don't have many friends anymore. TL;DR - don't worry OP. Either they're shitty people or you don't talk to them much. I wouldn't sweat it :)
420 Party?!?!? you're office sounds decent

Office parties are just chances for awkward situations to happen between people you're stuck seeing everyday. Better off you didn't go OP
That's too bad. The cake was awesome.
