Flesh eating disease is terrifying. As a hypochondriac, I completely understand. I drove myself crazy for a week when I had an obscure symptom that matched up with the flesh eating bacteria symptoms.
My boyfriend kept getting MRSA and would get treated only to have yet another outbreak! It was scary because it's contagious! Finally we found out the source of the problem. It was from his electric beard trimmer that he uses to remove all of his body hairs. In the trash it went! :P
Do their plans include offering you a financial leg up to pay for the bills?
If you see them with a knife, RUN.
I think the point is that OP can't....
Better speak up before you "don't have a leg to stand on". :P
Don't worry, the doctors won't listen to your parents, they know what they're doing. Your parents on the other hand are going to get extra worried, but then extra relieved when they realise you'll be fine....maybe they'll be so happy to have you back all in one piece that they'll be extra appreciative of you for a while and buy you some presents or something...
What if they drug him and cut off his leg at home?
I Hope you get well soon!
