Today, I was yet again asked to show my hall pass. I'm 23 and work at a middle school. I've worked here for the last five months, so not only do I look 13 years old, I'm also not memorable enough for my own coworkers to recognize me. FML

I'm sure you'll be glad that you look young for your age when you get older.

With your looks, you can go online and meet lots of guys in their mid 30's. Work it, girl!

That happened to me all the time at the high school I worked at even while I was pregnant!

Happens to me all the time. My coworkers all know me but whenever there's a substitute teacher in the building they think I'm a student. And I work at an elementary school, so they think I'm young enough to be in grade school.

To the op I feel you pain I'm 34 and I look like a teenager too

Hang in there OP, the same darn thing happens to me too (people think I'm 14-18 when I'm 24!)! It may seem like a FYL sort of thing now, but when you get older you'll appreciate things like this happening :)

My brother is 17 and has been mistaken for a teacher by teachers.

If you actually look like a 13 year old, I say start up your deviant **** career as the teaching thing doesn't seem to be working out. Or you can try juggling the two, but you run the risk of parents finding out you portray a little boy/girl getting boned stupid in your night job...

I'm the same way, I just tell myself that I will be glad about it when I'm older
