Today, I went out with my kids to eat at a nice restaurant. While I was in the bathroom, my 7-year-old daughter ordered 15 plates of "pearls" on the menu. Those "pearls" turned out to be salmon caviar. Guess who got a 425$ bill. FML

what kind of restaurant takes an order from a 7 year old without an adult around

I would have talked to the manager that waiter took advantage of the situation. This is one of those few instances that I would not tip. I hope you enjoyed your pearls though (:

This is both fyl and ydi. I can see the point of what restaurant/waiter would let that 7 yr old order by herself like that and actually bring out that food knowing she has no idea what she ordered?! However... Why was your 7 yr old left alone to order by herself as you went to the bathroom? Was there not another adult or child old enough to know better with her? And did you eat the caviar? Why get billed for it if you brought it to their attention right away? This is a fishy post... Pun intended!

What waiter would take that expensive order from a 7 year old?!

So your child was taken advantage of by the help and you enjoyed it so much you paid 425$. Nothing says f your life like i have an extra 500$ around to already cover up after my spoiled little shit.

I'm sorry but I don't believe this. No one would take an order like that from a small child.

I'm sorry but I don't know what kind of restaurant would take that order from a kid.
