How did you not notice a bunch of your clothes missing
Wow! Seriously, that was a jerk move.
if you dad pays for your stuff, he can get rid of it just the same. If you paid for your clothes, move out and pay for your rent too
Everyone freaking out about this....CHILL. If OP is under age (less than 18) the parents rules & decisions are there & not leaving until the child grows up & leaves...say what you will, parents rules are "the law of the land" as they say. No exceptions. If you still have a problem with it, obviously you're not grown up/mature enough to even have a say....to quote nearly every parent who knew what we denied as children "you'll understand when you grow up (& have kids of your own)"
Hope you checked the shoes too!
if you didn't notice they were yours until that dress, YDI and why buy them back? You clearly don't wear most of them.
Well clearly if you didnt realize you already owned those clothes that fit you perfectly, you don't ever wear them. Maybe he was right in DONATING them to the thrift store
MY MUM DID EXACTLY THAT AND I WAS LIKE 11!
If you didn't notice your clothes were missing, then you have too many clothes and YDI.

Donate his clothes, and take him shopping in that trift store.
I think he might be trying to say it's time for you to move out, in his own jerkish way. I hope you didn't have to pay to much for your clothes. Again.
