Being the Jewish friend growing up I sometimes was asked to participate in grace before dinner (they always said not to if it would make me uncomfortable) and I politely obliged. Never asked to lead a prayer though that would be really odd to me.
That's alright! God was thrilled that you gave him thanks, not upset that you "messed up" t the end of the prayer!
Why did they have you say prayer if they knew you weren't religious?
