Today, I went to register for college classes with my mom. Upon leaving, my mom confessed to me that she thinks I will get pregnant and drop out before my freshman year is over. FML

My mom went to college in her 30s. She got pregnant with me her senior year in high school, and waited til she was in her 30s to go to college. I plan on proving her wrong. I've never done anything to make her say something like that.

Normally the freshman year is reserved for drinking and experimentation only. Pregnancy is usually scheduled for the second year or later but your College Curriculum may vary.

When I was a freshman, we registered for classes during orientation. Everyone's parents came to help move their stuff in, sign any leftover paperwork, and say goodbye (there also might have been some parent activities, I don't remember).
