Why the **** wouldn't I? Next time you go anywhere, don't bring anything with you. Going to a restaurant? Don't bring your wallet or it might get stolen!

How awful. I hope that action has been taken against whoever stole your belongings!
No good deed goes unpunished. Sorry op fyl.
Ironic
I guess that they then rummaged through the bag.
That's bad ...

The OP is very angry.
Shittt
Not that the OP deserved to get their stuff stolen (no one does) but comparing that event to going out to dinner is not the same. When you go out to a restaurant etc.., you're not leaving your personal items unintended. And people at a rummage sale are going through secondhand things. Maybe another cashier sold it to a person not realizing it wasn't a donated bag or maybe it was indeed a thief? There are people that are assholes and just because it's at a church doesn't mean much now a days.
You go OP!

Show it anywayThere was nothing that would be valuable to someone else in there. Being needy doesn't excuse thievery. My bag was also not unattended.
They're saying they deserve to get their shit to get stolen, can't exactly blame op for being angry.
Unattended, not unintended. Not sure if you made a typo
Typo, or s/he's just stupid. Given the evidence shown here, I'm leaning towards the latter.
No, it's not a typo; "not unattended" means that she was always next to it and no, she's not stupid for initially trusting the honesty of people at a church rummage sale. Given the nature of your comment, I'm leaning towards the latter, too....
God don't want us to do good deeds or what! Fyl dear!
