Today, it's been the tenth restaurant meal in a row that my husband has to ruin with Instagram, in the belief that anyone cares. FML

I care. Because of him, I am able to see all of that hot, juicy, beef in the food ****. Thank you, sir.

Oh, I totally hate the taste of food after someone's taken a picture of it! C'mon, OP, if it bothers you that much tell him to cut it down or stop all together. It's not really that bad, but if it bothers you so much that it "ruins" the entire meal for you, just tell him to stop, or not to do it with you around.

It really bothers you that much for someone to take a picture or two before eating? I don't instagram but come on it shouldn't "ruin a meal". It's your fault that you let it bother you so much.

This is why I hate Instagram and I'm never going to use it.

Ok, while I agree that saying the entire dinner was ruined over him taking a picture of it is a bit extreme, he should also respect that it obviously bothers her. To continue to do it after (I assume) she had spoken to him shows a level of immaturity and selfishness similar to what most of you are claiming the OP is showing.

What is the big deal with Instagram anyway? I'm a teenage girl - nineteen years old - and I don't get it. Really, who cares? Don't have any kids with him, OP!

So, what does having kids have to do with Instagram anyway?

Your husband is a 15 year old girl?

It's pretty sad that people can't enjoy a nice day anymore without putting something on Facebook or Instagram like it makes your life seem better than everyone else's! I'll admit I like seeing it every once in a while but when people start doing it at every meal & every family event...geeze give it up already and enjoy your life instead of pretending to by posting it!!!

It's called 'social networking' for a reason. The whole purpose of sites like Facebook is to share what is happening with your life, is this a good thing? A bad thing? I don't know, I'm just a turtle, a drunk turtle

all the people that think this is normal and acceptable to be taking pictures of your food for their internet friends, let alone using a cell phone during a meal are stupid hipsters...

I though only teenagers made a big deal about that.

Even we're not that ridiculous, most of us anyway.

In the old days, people used to pray before meals. Now, people take a picture and post it on the Internet before eating. What. Is. Happening.

Well, I don't believe in God. That could be one reason someone doesn't pray at the dinner table or before eating. I have no need too since I don't believe.
