BagelTheOtaku tells us more.
Wow I was really surprised to be published, it made my day a bit better. I held off on commenting until I knew more about my issue. I actually went to the doctor two days after this got published. The doctor said it had happened because I had missed like 3 pills(birth control) in one month. The period continued for 3 months with 2-4 day breaks in between. I'm glad to say it's back to normal and on a regular cycle. (I'm 15)

Better than not getting your period for two months and panicking..but still..I get tired of it by the 5th day..maybe your cycle is just having quirks. I have a friend who has random long periods.
That seriously suck
Good grief I'm sorry. Frankly I'm also sorry you just came here to vent (very succinctly) with a very valid FML and have dozens of people telling you to go to a doctor as if you never would've considered that, trying to put the fear of God (or cysts or cancer or whatever) into you, as if you couldn't come up with doomsday scenarios on your own! I have suffered a great many menstrual glitches over the years but they have always straightened themselves out, and I hope by now yours has done the same. If not, I hope you have a care provider you trust to help you restore yourself and stop this nightmare.
I'm on day 17, I know your pain!
Please go get it checked out. I had one off and on (mostly on) for 10 months and was miserable. I eventually had to be put on bc pills. FYL
I've had a six week period before. I feel your pain! My problem was two prescription meds clashing - seriously, go to the doctor
You might want to go to the doctor for that, it could be something serious. No joke.
I've had mine for 10 weeks before...it didn't stop until I started birth control.
Um... If you were in your right mind (which obviously you're not, as you have ******* Niagara falls coming out of your lady parts) you would have seen a doctor on your 8th day... You need to see a doctor if you're for real.
Nah, after day 10 is when you consider a call. 8-10 days is long, but happens to some people, as long as it isn't a really heavy flow it's no big deal, take iron and drink plenty of fluids. Now, if it IS a really heavy flow, yeah, you probably want to talk to a doctor. And any sudden changes in a previously regular cycle should be noted. When you first start getting your period, it sometimes ends up lasting much longer than the norm, while the hormones get in balance, all sorts of weird irregularities happen the first year or so.
