Today, marks the seventh day of having my nose pierced. I'd done everything I was supposed to do, even sleeping with a band-aid over it. This morning, I woke up to my piercing being ripped out by my pillow, and the band-aid nowhere in sight. FML

Today, I had a spur of the moment idea to go have my nose pierced. The piercer made sure to tell me how easily the little stud could get caught or hung up. I spent all day stressing over it only to scratch my nose and rip it out. Now I have a $40 bleeding hole in my nose. FML

Today, I was adjusting my nose piercing from the inside. My mother saw and thought I was picking my nose, so she slapped my hand away, tearing my nose ring out in the process. FML

Today, while fighting with a girl I hate, my nose piercing got a little loose and I ended up snorting it in. That same girl had to take me to the hospital for surgery. She told everyone afterwards. FML

Today, I got a nipple piercing. My girlfriend thought I was pranking her with a fake piercing, because I wouldn’t be "daft enough" to get a real one, and she yanked it off, or rather through, my nipple. Yes, it cut my poor nip in half, and I now have two nipples where once I had only one. FML

really? ive resently had my nose pierced, i got mine 2 weeks ago and i was never told to sleep with a bandaid, my piercing was just a regular standard one which has extra length to avoid things like that from happening, i hope ur hole didnt close up though

the same thing happened to me and mine also got caught in my hair, towel ect. being ripped out each time. needless to say I don't have it any more.

you aren't supposed to cover a nose piercing. also when a nose or other body piercings are done the jewelry is the kind that needs more work to take out than a pillow.

I had that happen to my nose ring...woke up and it was being ripped out by my pillow...my dog ripped it out once...but YDI for getting a piercing and expecting things to be fine...taking "perfect" care of it, 1. would not include covering it with a bandaid and 2. doesn't mean it cant get ripped out.
