MissShei tells us more.
OP here. She has recently been having nightmares and keeping us up half the night. We were both exhausted so we said fine. I got up to go pee and when I came back, she had thrown my pillow on the floor and completely took over my side of the bed. If I moved her, she would've started screaming again and I just wanted sleep. I let her father deal with her at that point! I did sleep well for the rest of the night :)

Woo hoo... normally the man gets kicked out of bed (or at least the sheets stolen and he gets 10% of the bed). It is a small victory for the woman to have her territory taken.
Aw she just needed some daddy love
Get a bigger bed. Problem solved.
Put her butt in her bed when she falls asleep
Every parent goes through it... For heaven sakes, she is a 3 year old little girl who had night terrors. I bed share with my 12 month old, she can be handful, but none the less if I didn't, I wouldn't get any sleep period.
Time for a good old fashioned ass whupping
Stop being weak with your boundaries, you are setting precedents that will compound your problems.. It. Is hard to do, I know. But. You have to establish routines that you are willing to live with for many, many years. Good luck.
Sounds identical to a night in my house with my 2 year old son lol. He kicked me out of bed the other night and I slept on the couch... better than upsetting him and his feet in my back

It's clear who wears the pants in this family . . . and they come from Gap Kids.
OP, I'm sure you got better sleep than your hubby did by sleeping on the couch. Sleeping with a three year old isn't exactly restful!
