Right. They are both the gonads. It's funny, but when I learned that term in biology, it seemed like arcane trivia we needed to regurgitate for the next test and forget. Years later, I nearly bust a gut laughing when I heard it used casually. "Oh, man, I got kicked right in the gonads!" It's evolved to "nads" and even "nards," apparently.
