Today, my best friend and I came home from Japan. Her boyfriend and I have been having an affair before I left so I decided not to tell him she was coming with me. We just got off the plane and got a bite to eat, he was waiting for me so he could propose, my best friend was standing next to me. FML

Shit happens, you cant really judge someone untill you have been in their shoes. i mean i didnt have my best friends girl propose to me...but some stuff did happen none the less. Some people wont understand, yea were assholes, but you know what important thing is that you learn something. and all you jackasses calling this chick names and shit, people dont need that. try and help out. thats how you change idiot minds. not by calling them shit.

Another FML had its comments disabled because about 2 or 3 people called the poster a bitch (and she deserved it!). This FML has at least 300 people calling the OP a bitch or **** or ***** or worse. And still comments are enabled. Bias and mob mentality rule this site. Obviously the best friend wasn't exactly in a serious relationship, AND they're friendship can't be that strong. The OP is not "everything that's wrong with the world." She had some sex, she didn't kill anybody. I've never cheated in my life, but I laugh at how everybody overreacts to such a "crime."

Something like a one-time drunken hookup with your best friend's boyfriend would be bad enough, but having an intense enough relationship that he would want to MARRY you?
