Today, my boyfriend called me and I told him about the AnimeCon I'm attending, and that I wanted to go as Sailor Mars, he told me he had no idea what that was. After being mad for about ten minutes, I realized that I wanted to break up with him over not knowing what Sailor Moon was. FML

Today, I told my husband we could have a "him" day, visit the comic book and games stores, then watch anime. He refused to believe I was genuine, and asked what bad thing I did that I was trying to make up for. We ended up not doing any of it because he thinks I can’t be nice to him without a motive. FML

lord. sailor moon is the series and sailor mars is a character in the series. all of the planets have a senshi except earth but you could make the point that tuxedo kamen(or mask for the dub) is considered sailor earth. google: use it.

I love cosplaying and am an otaku ( a hygenic one) but i dont expect the people i socialize with to know it too but im being harsher than i should because youre aware of how stupid that is but maybe he'll love it if you inform him about sailor moon and cosplay
