Today, my boyfriend of 2 years took me to get a tattoo done with his name on. He paid for it. After it was done he told me it was over between us and he thought it'd be a nice reminder of him for me. FML

If you're dumb enough to get someone's name tattooed on you, you're dumb enough to get dumped by them in the same day. I don't care if this is real or fake... gave me a laugh.

That's so ridiculous. Yeah, it wasn't the smartest thing for you to get his name tattooed on yourself, but there's no point in dwelling on it now. Hopefully it was done on an inconspicuous spot. Good luck getting it removed or changed. Better he's out of your life sooner rather than later.

no one desevrves not only being broken up with, but being essentially tricked into being scarred for life. Although, depending how complicated it is, alot of good tattoo places are good at cover up jobs; you will need to wait till it has healed properly first though

Here's how I look at it: He was an important part of you life. While he's not part of it now, at least you can look back and know that at one time, he was important. However, that is why you NEVER get a name, maybe something that reminds you of them, if anything. Unless you're married. But even then, getting their name is iffy.

Here's a tattoo rule to live by. Only tattoo you childrens or mother's name. Even if something ****** up happens chances are you will still love them. Also how did you spend 2 years with this guy and not know he was an asshole. Due to the severity of what he did...it couldn't possibly be the 1st asshole-ish thing he has done. It sucks this happened but you walked right into it girl!
