Today, my boyfriend of 2 years took me to get a tattoo done with his name on. He paid for it. After it was done he told me it was over between us and he thought it'd be a nice reminder of him for me. FML

Today, I got a tattoo with my boyfriend's name on it. As we're coworkers, I showed it to him thinking he’d love it. He told me he couldn’t continue the relationship anymore since he realized he wants to fix things with his wife. Three hours of pain and 2 years down the drain. FML

I'd be so mad I was you, I think FYL is the only appropriate thing to think, he's such a loser, if I were you I'd make sure he paid for the removal of it, but at least he broke it off with you, you now know that he is a loser

#357, I have low self esteem and am still together with my first real love too (4.5 years, not 2 like the OP) and no way in hell am I going to have his name tattooed anywhere. Those two arguments are no excuse for doing something stupid like that, the girl probably didn't realize that a tattoo can be more permanent than a relationship. It's a horrible move of the guy, but she should've thought about this for a minute first. You should never ever have a boyfriend's name tattooed.
