Today, my boyfriend of 2 years took me to get a tattoo done with his name on. He paid for it. After it was done he told me it was over between us and he thought it'd be a nice reminder of him for me. FML

Today, I got a tattoo with my boyfriend's name on it. As we're coworkers, I showed it to him thinking he’d love it. He told me he couldn’t continue the relationship anymore since he realized he wants to fix things with his wife. Three hours of pain and 2 years down the drain. FML

YDI. Unless they're your kid or blood relative, NEVER get someone's name on you, no matter how happy together you may be. He's a dick for doing that to you, but you should have used your judgement and realized getting someone's name is dumb.

He's an asshole but you are a friggin idiot for getting his name tattooed on you. Even if you were married, it's stupid to get a name tattooed on you because you don't know whats going to happen in the future. I have my parent's names tattooed on me-that's different but as much as I love my husband I would NEVER tattoo his name on me. Pay attention to examples...Johnny Depp tattooed winona ryder on his body....angelina jolie tattooed her no ex's name on her....i mean its stupid...YOU SO DESERVED THAT!

Find a tattooist who specialises in cover-ups and start planning. NEVER get names, unless it is a memorial tattoo. If you must get something for you partner use symbols. At least you have a constant reminder not to ate a douche bag. Find a way to get revenge.

Seriously, it is like common knowledge that you do not get a SO's name tattooed on you. Getting someone's name tattooed on you is very BAD LUCK & very BAD for your relationship. Psh...I don't even have my son's name tattooed on me, but I do have his birth date.
