Today, my boyfriend refused to take me out on our three year anniversary because he was busy, "training to become a professional gamer." FML

Time for him to train to become a professional bachelor

wow this guys a douche! He couldn't wait one more night to "train"? It's not like the gaming system is gonna grow legs and run away, unlike his girlfriend

Tell him to move his lazy ass. There is not much chance he would get a job like that even though there are game testers about. He's just making excuses to do whatever he wants so you have to make some decisions here. Either make your peace with his gameing (not reccomended since hes missing occasions that are important to you) or speak to him about it. Don't give him an ultimatum because it usually backfires. Just try to talk to him instead and explain why he needs not to game all the time.

Why should he be required to take you out, OP? It's not your birthday, which would consist of him perhaps treating you. It's a three year anniversary, for BOTH of you, which means it should be a special occasion for BOTH of you. You're not dating yourself. It goes both ways. So, what are you planning to do for him?

When I read this it was out loud....My boyfriend just laughed and praised your boyfriend -____-" One time, on one of anniversaries he left me to go buy Final Fantasy XIII with his best friend. You're not the only one with a game addicted partner (:

Trust me, you will learn to appreciate those quick fingers and lighting fast reflexes. Just don't be grossed out when he screams headshot.

That just sent a wrong picture through my head -____-" Thanks -____-"

how dare you interfere with that!

She won't be saying anything when he competes against other players and win $10,000. :

I wish YouTube still had the vuvuzela as a button for videos. xD
