Today, my boyfriend was seated in my section at work. As he sees me his face drops... he's on a date. He had forgotten I work there. I had to serve him and his date, and they didn't leave a tip. FML

I'd break up with him, not because he's cheating, but because he's obviously too stupid to not take a date to the restaurant where his girlfriend works! Who wants to be around someone that dumb?

as a server myself, this definitely sucks. if i couldnt pass off the table to someone else then id just **** with them. first off i wouldve greeted the table with the biggest smile. "ohmygodddd babe! i didnt think i was gonna see you here!" give him a hug kiss whatever and turn to the girl and introduce him to her as your boyfriend. if that doesnt embarass him or have her running, then more fun for you haha i hope you gave them horrible service, got them dirty cups filled with used ice, put visine in their food, charged them for every possible thing you could think of, and spit in their food. once you dropped the check i hope you told her how much of a dumb inconsiderate asshole he is and hope she enjoys their new budding relationship because youre done with him. also for an extra punch tell her that his little baby dick comes in about 30 seconds.

This one baffles me. So many whys here. -Why wouldn't you switch the table with a server at a nearby section? -Why wouldn't you tell her what an idiot he is? -Why would she stay and continue the date if you told her? -Why would he stay and face his own idiocy for an hour or so? -Why, FFS, would either of them consume anything you served them, knowing the situation? As for the tip, I'm not sure whether stiffing you or tipping lavishly would be more insulting, to both you and his date. Perhaps your response can be forgiven due to shock or management rules, but both of them are incredibly dumb. It seems they deserve each other.
