Sucks being a Star Trek fan that you have to deal with your very own Klingon.
Shake your leg! Get it off, get it offff!!
Unless you want a warden for a girlfriend dump her sooner than later. This is her problem so don't make it yours. She's only going to get more possessive as time goes on because she is perpetually insecure. Nothing you do will ever be enough to reassure her.
Isn't usually working on a problem first a good thing? I'm glad my husband didn't think like that. He would have been long gone when I was diagnosed bipolar instead of supporting me while I doughty treatment and got better. And if I thought like that, I would have ditched when I heard OCD. Working through these issues together can make a relationship stronger and healthier.
Medical problems like that are very different. A clingy girlfriend, when confronted, might back off, but also might get more possessive, and the behaviour can become obsessive, stalkerish or even escalate to physical violence.
Invest in a squirt gun. You know... like the one people have for cats.
"Peter, not now"
Kick her to the curb
A measured response would be . . . Kill her. I'm only joking, or am I?. Being clingy will lead to jealousy, make a stand now and talk to her about the issue. If no improvement then maybe time to let her down gently and move on. Food for thought
Maybe you should have invited her to read it with you. She might have gotten the hint.

And thats how you know it has gotten to that point in your relationship
Was she there when you wrote this FML?
