I'm sure there must be a way to tell him it is not right or fair to ground you. I'm just not used to these posts where people get grounded because I never do.

Well, he'll find out that you're not the one using the wifi while you're grounded and you can use it as leverage to get away with something else.

Ignore the grounding, and set the router password to something he can't guess.
Just tell him that if Microsoft calls its not a scam and see how he reacts when they drain his credit card
in the usa it is actually illegal to leech off of unprotected wifi without the owners consent
