Today, my dog decided to chase a smaller dog for three blocks. When I finally caught up with him, he laid down and refused to go anywhere. I had to carry my 80 pounds Labrador like a baby all the way home. FML

You should have lured him in with a beef jerky treat. And right when he's about to eat it, slap him in the face with the jerky and run away laughing. Your dog will be so embarrassed that he will walk all the way home in shame.

that's when training comes in use, especially for big dogs. you better start training now or start a back replacement fund

Ahh I'm sorry OP.. it's happened to me before except it was a German Shepard and I took him out to go to the bathroom and a lost dog ran by. I guess just try to train your dog better!
