Today, my dogs broke through our electric fence, one of whom managed to get his collar off. I picked it up and, without thinking, went across the fence line. I screamed like a chihuahua being run over by a bulldozer. FML

37- just go to a corner and think about what you said.

What a jerk off. If its on your hand and it hurt that bad imagine how much it hurts around te poor pups neck. If its an absolute must to have can't you just set the shock lower so it won't hurt as bad.

well that was dumb...I recommend a real fence and I love the last part "a chihuahua being run over by a bulldozer" I'm so using that lolol

You make me want to puke. How would you like to be tazered every time you left your front door? GET A DAMN FENCE!!!! Inhumane bitch.

To anyone saying that "Now you know how the dogs feel" or that electric fences are cruel; If your dog is continuously running away and getting lost and you don't have the time or money to fully fence your property, why not get an electric fence? The dogs are trained not to go through the fence and they get a beep as a warning if they go near the border. Some dogs are 'smart' and slip out of the collar or wait until it has low battery etc. True, Electric fences can malfunction and kill the dog, which is why you must checkout the brand in which you buy. Also you can change how high or low the shock setting is. Perhaps she has big dogs and that's why it was set high therefor hurt. I have a 140 pound Great Dane who I use a prong collar for, and it works amazingly and it in my opinion isn't cruel either. :) Enjoy your day
