Today, my father gave me his blessing to be married on one condition: that I keep my maiden name when I marry. My fiancé thought it would be "epic". My last name will be hyphenated to Cobb-Webb. FML

You do have several options: 1. Don't give a shit about what your dad thinks (not the best of ideas) or convince him you don't want your name. 2. Take only your name, it's not a crime anymore, we live in the 21st century here. 3. Make up a new name entirely, that's the best way to get unique and creative. My favorite is 3, and from what I understand, also the most popular.
