Today, my fiancé and I had a fight over household expenses. He's never had a job in his life, but this didn't stop him demanding that I get another full-time job to pay for video games and beer. FML

Today, my boyfriend asked me to pick up a few things from the store for him while he was at work. After picking up everything he asked for, I wasn't left with much money so I used $50 from my account. When he got home he then grumbled about me spending all of "his" money. FML

I would suggest much the same as other commenters: Don't marry him. 1) he doesn't have a job (could be excused by being a student, but his other actions condem him) 2) seems to be financially dependent on you, his partner (again, if he's a student it could be excused, but...) 3) expects you to work harder to provide for already seemingly comfortable exiscence. and probably doesn't appreciate the effort you put in. Think about it in the long run - is this situation likely to change? Probably not. Even if he gets a job, he will probably keep the same attitude. You may wish and expect for him to change, but odds are he won't. You either have to be at peace with him the way he is (not a pleasant option) or get out while you can with relatively little trouble.

You're pretty much ******. If he has never had a job before and has you to rely on, then if he ever gets a job, he will never be able to hold it down. He most likely already has the mindset that he doesn't need to do anything but still gets what he wants. YDI.
