Today, my future mother-in-law started shit-talking me on Facebook, and we got into a heated argument. She called me later in the day, saying I'll be lucky if I ever marry her son and that, "You'll suffer to your last breath." I'm now terrified to set foot outside. FML

Ydi for fighting back, sorry but as much as you don't like the woman and you don't like her, if you love your fiancé, you still need to respect her and Facebook is the last place you need to put your family drama. If my fiancé ever fought with my mom on Facebook, I can't guarantee that I'd be going through with that wedding either.

she's meaning she will make your life miserable until you die...not that she will be the cause of your death. but one thing you have to ask yourself, could this effect your marriage in the long run? if he's close to her, my answer is discuss this with him now before you take your vows. trust me, I have an awful mil and wish I'd realized it before I married him. good luck. and remember its easier to not start shit back and be the bigger person than fight back and further piss her off
