Today, my future sister-in-law cancelled my invitation to her and my brother's wedding. Her reason was that I was incredibly rude to announce my pregnancy to my family at a time like this, because it took all the attention away from her. FML

If your brother doesn't have the balls to overrule her on this one, there's a serious issue.

Woot woot!!! You just saved a day for yourself and you can use the $ you would spend on a gift for you!!! They'll get divorced anyways.. She is acting like a teenager going through puberty

what a bitch. however many families are like this, so you're not alone OP. lets just remind her that you were in this family first. she's only an in law. ;)

First off, we really would all like to know exactly how this came about. Did she do this behind his back or right in front of his face? How is your relationship with your brother? Ask yourself. Are you close enough with your brother where this is an issue worth pushing? Do you really want to be there to honor his union to someone so abhorrently selfish and immature? Is she usually this bad or was she perhaps having an off moment making it still an inexcusable, but somewhat more forgivable transgression? If you CAN get your brother to overrule this, do you think she'd make a big fuss about it?

I seriously doubt you planned the timing on purpose OP, sorry to hear she did that to you. But CONGRATULATIONS on your baby and I hope your pregnancy goes well :)

What an ignorant dolt. Hopefully your brother doesn't stand for that shit, because it'll be a very important day for him too. It's not all about the bride.

I'd hate to see how Bridezilla would react if OP's grandma died before the wedding.

If you were still invited and she just got mad at you or something I'd tell you to give birth during the wedding. Sorry to here about the cancelled invite and congrats on the baby!
