Today, my garage was flooded. Everything was ruined. My garage also happens to be my study, in which my entire art coursework was drying. My exam is tomorrow and all I have to hand in is a pile of mushy paper. FML

Today, my sculpture, which is very important for my art grade, fell from my desk and broke to pieces. My art teacher suggested I soak the parts in water to make it easier to stick them back together. They dissolved. FML

Today, I went to my local library to study. As I settled in, I dropped my water bottle, causing a mini flood. Panicked, I tried to clean it up with paper towels, only to knock over a stack of books, creating a domino effect of chaos. The librarian gave me the dirtiest look. FML

Today, my teacher told me that she couldn't find my hand-written essay on the Renaissance, and that I have to re-do it all by tomorrow. I later saw my essay on her desk, covered in a massive coffee stain that made virtually everything unreadable. FML

Today, I went to my cousin's house. I left my bag on the couch as my aunt instructed, only for my cousin to take it and throw it into the swimming pool. My laptop, textbooks and notes were soaked. My exam is in a week, and my aunt won't punish her perfect little angel. FML

Today, I rushed home after my mom called saying our upstairs had flooded. Apparently, my little brother somehow broke the toilet while unsupervised and water overflowed everywhere. It even reached my closet, shoes, and books, and everything touching my floor in my room is now wet. FML

As i've explained a countless times before if everyone in the world only did 'useful' degree to become doctors a and lawyers there the whole economy would be thrown into complete chaos. There would only be doctors and lawyer jobs and everyone else would be unemployed. Thankfully there is a whole range of people who like different things, which means there are plenty of companies, organisations and business set up that don't just revolve around being a doctor or lawyer. So there are jobs people can do after their oh so 'useless' art degree like designer, fashion, architect, curator, illustrator, even being free lance (i could go on..) along with the fact they enjoy the jobs like this and some people (as crazy as it may sound to you) actually enjoy to support these jobs so they can exist in this very diverse society. If we all did the same degree, life would be a very boring place. I use to think sport related, to name one, jobs were 'useless' careers, but I realised it exists because there are enough people who it brings joy to for it to exists and there are plenty of people who are talented and good at what they do, which should be respected even if not personally financially supported.

just turn in and say its your art , and if the teacher says "what's this? this isnt art." reply "yes it is! it represents the pieces of my soul!!!" then do a dramatic stare off into the distance. you'll get credit!
