Today, an old friend of mine landed in Spain, where he's visiting me. After a few minutes talking about where we should meet, we realized the reason he couldn't figure out where it was, was probably due to the fact that he was in Barcelona. I live in Madrid. FML

Today, my dad asked me how I would feel about going on an all-expenses-paid, month-long holiday to the Caribbean. I was ecstatic and broke into tears of joy, saying I'd love it. He replied, "Yeah, me too. Shame it ain't happening!" then left for work, laughing his arse off. FML

In middle school we had to map the entire world by heart. I knew more about geography than this woman when I was an 8th grader. I can still remember most of the countries in the world and where they are. Anyone in a different country please do not think all Americans are like this lady.

umm.. if you guys are so surprised by this.. then i guess this isnt the time to admit that in grade 9 i thought canada was north america, mexico was central america and the USA was south america.. and everything else was in europe..
