@OP You shouldn't expect your SO to put in any more effort than you do. If you're chunky too then you're just as much at fault. @18 That makes him a borderline hypocrite. If he's going to complain about it he could at least buy healthy food for you and possibly work out with you.

#24, size 12 is not normal? Maybe if you're 5feet tall. I'm sorry, but being a size 4 is? I'm over 5"8', I used to be a size 5 (I know I stated it before) and my doctor told me to gain weight. Do some research before you open your mouth, it's not about weight or size, it's BMI that matters.

I'm sorry, but size 12 is not normal. It is overweight. I'm 5'5, size 5, and Im definitely not a twig. 12's not morbidly obese, but its definitely overweight.

Also, hasn't BMl been largely discredited? Or not discredited exactly, it's just not a very good way to judge, because it doesn't take into account muscle tone. According to the BMI, I'm overweight. And I'm 5'1, 110 pounds. But I'm a size 2. You might want to evaluate yourself more accurately...

Are you stupid? I mean just because someone is a size 12 doesn't make them fat. I know a girl who's a size 7 & weighs 136. Perfectly healthy. It's called "Hips" & "curves".

i think that it is not healthy to gain that much weight unexpectedly, 12 is not a bad size-- it just depends on the person- i would look terrible as a size 12 (im a 4) but it is not necesarily a bad thing

I'm sure she's still extremely sexy :P and to everyone saying that the asking of buying clothes is a FML... wait til you get engaged or married... it gets worse :P I can't remember the last time I bought anything with my own money, and I've only been married a month... lmao
