Start working out together man. Encourage a more healthy lifestyle. Also, to everyone else, I know it seems like the OP is a dick but come on, physical attractiveness is a really important part of a relationship. Not THE most important, but it is pretty darn important.
Douchebag.
It is when you start out with a size 4. Personally, I'm not attracted to women large enough to wear a double-digit size (unless both of the digits are 0). If I started out dating a size 4 and she became a size 12, I'd be pretty unhappy. I wouldn't necessarily break up with her, depending on how good the relationship was otherwise... but then again, if the relationship were good, she would have been working to maintain her body all along and the issue would never have come up. I'm willing to put effort into maintaining my size 4 figure, so I'd expect the same of any female partner. Hell, I don't wait for the double digit sizes. If my BMI gets to 23 (it's usually around 20 or 21), I step up my exercise regimen and reduce intake immediately.
Oops, meant to reply to another comment rather than at the bottom of the page. Ignore this.
you are an ass.
agree with # 15! Size 12 is nothing. If it bugs you so much, that you think your life is f***ed, you don't deserve her. F her life, for being with a guy that's THAT shallow.
All chicks eat when they r depressed with life , your not helping either man

I'm a moron. That is all.
@OP You shouldn't expect your SO to put in any more effort than you do. If you're chunky too then you're just as much at fault. @18 That makes him a borderline hypocrite. If he's going to complain about it he could at least buy healthy food for you and possibly work out with you.
