Today, my girlfriend broke up me with for being the "perfect boyfriend". Apparently I'm the best boyfriend she's ever had, and she didn't know how to take it. So she dumped me. FML

I'd imagine it was along the lines of "you're a perfect guy", not "you're the perfect boyfriend". A girl will break up with you even if they think there's a lot good about you if they find one or two things that don't click with them. So when she said you're the perfect boyfriend, she obviously didn't mean for her.

Been there, done that. But, that wasn't the reason I gave him. It was 16 years ago so I dont remember what I told him.. but I do know that he was too perfect for me and I couldn't handle that, I was 16 and not ready to settle down. Five years later tho, all is well. We're married with two kids ;)
