I am so sorry for your loss. I still haven't come close to getting over my uncle's death...and that was over a year and a half ago. She is a horrible person for even thinking that being that way is okay.

I lost a cat months ago and I still dream about him. My ex and my dad died A little over a year ago two months apart and I'm still going to grief counseling

I just lost 3 kittens and my favorite cat two weeks ago. I found my favorite cats mangled body in the road after eating dinner. the police were called over my screams. they told me to get over it and adopt another one from the spca. there are some very insensitive people in this world.

55, My favorite cat was killed by a car also, although fortunately he hadn't been mangled by it. He must have died of head trauma or internal bleeding. I can't imagine how much more heart wrenching it would have been if his body had been crushed or dismembered, to see him like that. I'm so sorry you went through that. My cat was only 4 years old and in good health, so he likely had at least another ten years ahead of him if not for the accident. That's what hurt so much, not that he died, but that it had been so sudden and premature. I've had many other pets die, but they were either very old or so young and fragile that it wasn't shocking. Also that this particular cat was so special to me. I've never loved an animal like that before, neither have I been so affected by an animal's death.
