Today, my husband and I got into an argument over him not brushing his teeth. It ended with him snapping his toothbrush in half. He's 52. FML

2- I don't know? Maybe because they love each other? I know, it's a hard concept to understand but please try.

That's something you have to know to do by yourself at like the age of 12. Sorry OP.

I think her husband is able to brush his teeth, just maybe doesn't want to. And you should know how to brish your own teeth well before you're 12.

I started when I was eight? ....

You STARTED when you were 8?? You should start at about 6 months, when you first start getting teeth...

#75: I feel #40 was talking about when he started brushing by himself. At 6 month old, a baby can't brush their own teeth and their parents brush them.

@75 Christ, I started brushing them myself when I was eight, if I didn't brush my teeth at all until then, then I wouldn't have any teeth by the time..

#80: It's sad that 6 people weren't smart enough to figure out what your comment was saying. I knew you were talking about brushing your teeth by yourself at 8 years old.

@82 And you did help others understand it, thanks for that ;)

Everyone has their inner child. Some people just express it more than others.

Get a pretty dentist to lecture him on oral hygiene.

Woman. Give him a break. You shouldn't turn every little thing into a fight! Especially on Father's Day.

having very stinky breath when he trys to kiss her isnt a little thing, unless he doesnt ever wanna get intimate.

and she didnt say they had children, so the fathers day thing is irrelevant

Look at it this way he still pretty strong, either way sorry op.

Breaking a tooth brush doesn't take much strenght

#19: My 7 year old son can break a toothbrush, it's not difficult.

Maybe he'd brush his teeth if you got him a toothbrush that plays music. Heard all the kids love them.

he broke the toothbrush lmao, its alright but you can't kiss him so fyl my girlfriend doesn't brush her teeth at night either, it was honest of her to tell me that, but she brushes every morning. just make sure your husband does that .. and I know most of you reading this don't brush your teeth at night either, stupid hypocrites...

Wait, are you serious? We are taught to brush at least twice a day and to floss. I would feel extremely disgusted to go to bed with my teeth full of the day's plaque and bacteria. Take 30 seconds a night to brush and it'll save you a lot of pain and money in the future.

52.....aren't you too old to be reading fmls??? Well who cares laughing is for everyone

52 is still relatively young... Besides, there is no "too old", even for FMLs.
