My dad, uncles, a few cousins, and hubby all ride bikes. They save a TON in gas when going to and from work and gives them some happiness when they look in the garage. Be supportive and take a ride with him. Its a lot of fun and will let your husband know you care about what he wants as well. Give it a chance. :)
I agree with #108, GET TO THE CHOPPA! oh...wait...
This proves why men rule the country. Common sense
It's will save alot on gas!! My zx6r get 45mph
6-lol go jump off a bridge
first a 2000 dollar motorcycle is not "mid life crisis worthy" its a Crap bike, that he either got used, stolen, or has really good luck. Second, most motorcycles get from 60 to 80 to the gallon. Most medium priced cars, 17 to 27 per gallon. do the math. its worth it.
Was it a nice bike at least?

Actually, I ride, too. A bunch of my buddies did some back-of-the-envelope math and concluded that provided you don't go for some gigantic liter-sized road sofa that gets under 40mpg, yes, a bike is cheaper. Back when gas was $1-$1.50 a gallon, it wasn't, because any gas savings would rapidly get eaten up by the cost of replacing tires and drive chains. But with gas at $3.50-$4 or more, it works out.
Ah. Great. How's he gonna bring home groceries in that thing?
