you should beware of your sister , they always say people who hurt or kill animals tend to become serial killers. I only say this because if op sister is old enough to use a vacuum , then she should know that you cant vacuum a hamster.

On YouTube is full of videos of people vacuuming their cats or dogs, maybe she didn't realize that a hamster is just too small.

It's not cruel I had a long hair cat that loved to be vacuumed it's not like I took the beater bar and used it on her it was the nozzle. And it also saved me sweeping my apt.
