Today, my mom scolded me for not taking driving lessons already. This comes a few days after she told me that, "Allowing teenagers to drive is just another way of thinning out the gene pool". FML

Today, I took my road test. I'd never had driver's training and my mom taught me how to drive. I failed the test so badly, and when I got home my mom admitted to having taught me how to drive completely wrong because she didn't want me to get my license as she thinks I'm too young. I'm 18. FML

Today, my mom told me I wouldn't be able to take driver's education until at least my sixteenth birthday, because I'm, "Not ready to drive a car." Isn't that the whole point of driver's ed? FML

Today, I found out that my mom has been deliberately forgetting to help me practice my driving. It's not because the insurance will go up once I pass the test, she doesn't want my 14 year-old sister to feel left behind. FML

Today, while driving on the streets for the first time, my mom decided that it would be an appropriate time to yell at me for every single mistake I’ve ever made in my life. This stressed me out so much I began driving against traffic. FML

Today, I went driving for the first time with my mom. When she wasn't screaming, she gave great advice like, "Stop at the red light" and "Don't crash into cars". I need to drive 50 hours with her. FML

Today, my mom once again yelled at me for "driving erratically". She texts while driving 70 miles per hour on the highway, but apparently driving through a yellow light is "reckless". FML

Today, I found out my mother drives my car. I was okay with it; I don't use it all the time and she's my mother. However, I was not okay with the multiple speeding tickets that came through in the post. "You're the registered keeper, so why should I pay?" FML

Today, my parents finally took me driving after months of me having my permit. I got yelled at for asking questions. I only needed to know which way they wanted me to turn on the next street after they told me to turn, but not which way. FML

Well... you could have easily just listened to her and than you wouldn't be scolded. On the other hand, teenagers aren't the greatest drivers, they have less experience, that is something that nobody can deny. Driving is all about experience, vision and awareness. If you took drivers ed you would understand why they created such a thing. If you REALLY want to learn how to drive and learn roads and everything about driving, ride a motorbike. It's actually been proven that motorcycle riders are the better drivers because you're automatically more aware of everything around you. I've been riding for 19 years, as well as driving. Riding a motorbike will make you a better driver, and it's more fun than driving a car, once you ride, driving just becomes lame. Plus... you'll be set apart from sooo many people for being a female rider and get TONS of positive attention. Give it a try!!

It's also been proven that motorcycle riders are much more likely to be seriously injured or killed in the accident that they will eventually have, due to all the non-attentive people driving several tons of steel around.

Are you that much more stupid than a stupid person?? It takes a real idiot to not know that the bike rider will lose on any accident whether it's their fault or not, which in most cases it's the vehicles fault because the driver wasn't looking for bikes, take drivers ed kiddo, they talk about it a lot. At least bike riders get more attention and aren't stuck in a cage... plus, we're good to the world, we don't use up a lot of gas. Are you too chicken to ride a motorbike? It sounds that way. =P

Teens don't drive too bad, it's just mostly the texters, multitaskers, and women that drive bad. Some old men drive bad too.

You sound really sexist "and women that drive bad." How good or bad you are when it comes to driving is not at all vindicated by your gender. And not to start a gender war, but some tests have proven that women are actually generally safer drivers than men.
