Today, my mom told me I was a bad daughter because I didn't get anything for my parents' anniversary. I just sent my brother a check for $400 for my share of their gift. FML

Wow ur brother should really include you in the card or something

Wtf. Your brother`s a douche for either keeping the money or not giving you credit as well. And your mom`s a bitch for saying that.

did you point out that you're not married to her and therefore don't have to buy her shit for her anniversary?

Tell her she's a bad mom. :/ Seriously, my mom wouldn't care if she thought I didn't get her a present on her anniversary. She'd be a bit disappointed, but she wouldn't tell me I was a bad daughter.

I've never gotten anything for my parents on their anniversary that cost more than a card. I don't see the point in it. To be fair, though, they had me before they were married... ;D

wtf is wrong with your mom? it's not like you have kids to get gifts from them.

in my family, you dont give gifts for anniversery, you gtfo so they can sex and be romantic and whatnot i always looked forward to my parents's anniversery because they'd buy us pizza and a pay-per-view movie and leave to go to dinner and shit XD good times

FYL because you have a jackass hoe mom who calls you a bad daughter because you don't buy her something. You could have been poor and that 400 hard to come by...FYL, and FYML because she's a stupid spoiled *****.

at least ur parents celebrate their anniversary

you know what I never got? The fact that other people have to get stuff for other peoples' anniversaries, shouldn't it just be the husband getting something for the wife, and the wife getting something for the husband??
