And how do you know that? The OP could have his own house and an interfering mother. I remember a really old FML where the OP and her husband went on holiday. She asked her mother (might have been mother-in-law) to mind the house for them. They were both graphics designers and had left some designs they'd made on their work table. They came back and the mother had ran the designs through a shredder.

i would cry a little if my mom had sold my possibly multi hundred thousand dollar collection of __ for whatever absurdly cheap price. i feel ya dude unless it was just the stuff you wanted not the money you lost
