Today, my mother threw away my brand new headphones. She saw them on the couch with duct tape on the wires and assumed they were "old, broken, and cheap." I put the tape there to avoid damaging the wires. FML

Today, I was listening to my iPod while changing the diaper on my baby. One earbud fell out of my ear and onto the changing table so I quickly picked it up without looking and put it back in my ear, only to realize the headphone had fallen onto more than a table. I now have brown earphones. FML

Today, I was listening to my music on my phone through my Bluetooth wireless headphones. While listening, I turned my music and the power on my headphones off for a bit. I thought I'd lost them when I got home. They were so loosely fit over my ears that I felt like an idiot when I realized they were still on my head. FML

People saying YDI for leaving stuff on the couch...You can't leave things on your own couch? I mean I'd understand if you were a slob and were threatened to clean it up or it would be thrown out..Also even if they were old cheap and broken they still didnt belong to her, on top of her deciding they were. The only acceptable reason for her throwing out what she assumed were old broken headphones, would be if she had the intention of replacing them. Instead of leaving you without any.
