Hey OP here, My ex an I didn't exactly end on good terms which is what was really awful. My ex had actually been seeing the girl for a little while before we broke up. She broke up with me because she had finally decided her new girlfriend was worth leaving me for. I had never met nor cared to who the girl she left me for was. I met my current girlfriend at a coffee shop a few weeks after. This was the first time I was meeting her best friend, and the first time my girlfriend was meeting her best friends girlfriend.

that sucks, sorry that happened. The lesbian dating dating circle is small. Everyone knows and dates each in the end (at least my best friend has learned).
foursom?
I have a feeling you and #9 would hit it off.
This FML could also have been written from the shoes of the ex-girlfriend.... #mindblown
Lol
And your new girlfriend didn't think of telling you before the date who her best friend's new girlfriend is? That sounds like a delightfully awkward evening.
OP's girlfriend probably didn't know that herself
That is a possibility.
My sister is a lesbian (& I'm a straight male); I've learned to ask a few questions when she's offered to hook me up with a blind date.
I read these comments, was expecting answers and still don't see how that's an issue. You can just ask them simple questions to sort that out ? like "so how did you and my sister get to know each other ?". It makes things clear and also starts a conversation. Communicating, you know, like people.
"How did you get to know my sister" and "did you sleep with my sister" are extremely different questions though. My question: "How did you meet my sister ?" Possible answers "We met at school and became friends" "I dated her" "We met online" And many others. Can start a proper conversation and don't imply the girl slept with the sister in question. Learn how to read please.
Gross.
Her,her? Anyone else pick that up?
All 4 are females.. Lesbians.
"With her" (1st person), "her best friend" (2nd person), "and her best friend's girlfriend (3rd person). 2x her is thus in place

Well at least it looks like you both have moved on? :)
....why would you go to all that trouble when it says plain as day that she's a lesbian....
