not nessisarly my mom doesn't even know how to copy and paste luckily my dad is a technological genius because I can see my mom doing that... OP try a over the Internet backup the one I use is hybir great look and really super fast!

I don't want my stuff on some server somewhere. Fortunately I have a dad who wouldn't throw my computer out unless he was willing to pay the $2000 replacement cost, and a Time Machine backup disk in case my internal hard drive should fail.
