Lol that sucks. I mean, seriously. That sucks.
Sadly there seem to be givers and takers in life, not everyone we give support to will give back support when we need it. Clue: Most of us make our own “luck”. If a friend or relative is frequently coming to you with a sob story and the need for consolidation, don’t expect them to reciprocate. They can barely manage their own life, don’t expect them to give you support when you need it. You need to disengage from such people - Anyone can have a crisis or a problem, but people who repeatedly need help are not people you can count on when you need help. I am not saying that problems or crisis don’t come to all of us - The pandemic has proved that if nothing else. I am saying that people who are always needing support are not people you can count on for support when you need it.
