Write him a thank you card for the gift, maybe you'll receive more in the future.
Just because you spent a long amount of time on that obvious garbage doesn't mean you should get high marks. Learn how to write a better paper, seems to me you got lucky even with a D.
nice work!
Would I be correct to guess that you're a first-year student? High school might give you all kinds of leeway just for effort, but in college/university, you're graded on the work that you produce (generally). Which is fair, because if you were an employer, who would you want to hire: the person who spends a lot of time on a job, or the person who does it well?
Draw blood from someone with AIDS, and stick the syringe into his arm. Then tell him,"that was a gift".
and then Jesus would have said: "Give her an F!" Jesus wouldn't have suggested he give her a D just to be nice if she didn't deserve it.
lmao..
extra credit?
He should have also written "owned". Trolol.

Spending hours working on something doesn't mean it was any good. You should think about speaking with the writing tutors on your campus.
ask him if it comes with a gift receipt
